Staten Island District 1 & 3 Sanitation Garage

The New York City Department of Design & Construction (NYCDDC) & New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) sought to renovate their existing borough repair shop and construct a new garage for Staten Island districts 1 & 3. SBLM created a conceptual design utilizing a phased approach including the expansion and renovation of the borough repair garage, a new storage garage to be shared by the two districts, demolition of the existing storage garage, construction of structured employee parking, environmental remediation, and substantial site redevelopment.
