Glen Oaks Educational Campus

Located on a challenging site, this campus is comprised of three schools: PS 266, PS 208, and the High School of Teaching, Liberal Arts and Sciences. At the time that this project was awarded, it was the largest endeavor ever granted by the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA). The three schools total approximately 441,800 sf and accommodate 2,867 students. Special features of the campus buildings include extensive day-lighting for aesthetic and environmental purposes, two gymnasiums, a wireless language lab, a distance learning center, and a virtual enterprise lab.
