Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care

The number of patients in need of long-term skilled nursing care is steadily increasing. The conversion of an existing hospital into a 280-bed skilled nursing facility was what our client needed to better serve rehabilitation patients. In addition to the 280 beds, the facility features a bistro, country kitchen, physical and occupational therapy suite, 24 chair dialysis suite, private dining rooms, beauty/barber shop, medical and dental facility, chapel, and a prayer/assembly room. SBLM successfully conveyed a "home feel" in this design.
