The property formerly housed a U.S. Postal Service distribution center. The client was committed to repurposing the vacant and underutilized commercial property. SBLM demolished and redeveloped the space into a new two-level, mixed-use shopping plaza, comprised of retail, medical, and restaurant space.

Throggs Neck Shopping Center features stores and restaurants including a 30,000 sf TJ Maxx, 5,500 sf Doctors Express, Sleepy’s, Petco, Skechers, Metro Optics, BX Sports, T-Mobile, Starbucks and Super Wines and Liquors. Additional tenants include Applebee’s, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Popeyes, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Sarku Japan.
